Program Philosophy
Boulder Hockey Club is dedicated to providing Boulder area youth with a positive atmosphere that supports a fair and competitive environment. Ice hockey is used as the vehicle to promote sportsmanship, integrity, self-esteem, dedication, and commitment as a foundation for growth, both as an individual and a community member.
Emphasis will always be placed upon family, education, personal development, community, diversity, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The proper and positive conduct of board members, coaches, volunteers, players, and parents will be maintained to ensure a positive culture and a dignified organization we can all be proud of.
Boulder Hockey Club offers Tier II, Travel, and Recreational team options. These various teams will play in the Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL), Colorado Competitive Hockey League (CCYHL), the Mountain States Girls Hockey League (MSGHL), Colorado Girls Hockey League (CGHL), and the Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) League. Additionally, our High Performance teams will participate in the Atlantic Hockey Federation (AHF). Our goal is to provide options for our members that meet their player development, gender, and financial needs. Recreational teams will be provided 2 ice touches a week including their game schedule. The competitive teams will receive 3-5 ice touches a week depending on their league and tournament game schedules.
Above all … it’s all about the kids.
