CPHL Lady Coyotes

Founded in 2012, the Central Premier Hockey League (CPHL) was established as a key developmental league supporting the Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) winter hockey season. Sanctioned by USA Hockey and the Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), CPHL provides a high-level competitive platform for high school teams across Colorado.

The league’s primary season runs each Fall, from September 1st through early November, offering Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels of play. This structure helps teams prepare for the CHSAA winter season with strong competition and skill development.

In the 2023–2024 season, CPHL expanded to include a Girls Tier 1 Division, reflecting its commitment to growing the game and offering elite opportunities for female athletes.

One of the league's longstanding programs is the Lady Coyotes, who have participated in every season since the league’s inception. For the 2025–2026 season, the Lady Coyotes will be led by Head Coach Neil Runbeck and Assistant Coach Jimmy Dexter, who bring a strong tradition of leadership and development to the team.
